HEALTHCARE ANIMATION
WE KNOW HEALTHCARE
Creating an animated video for the healthcare industry means facing certain challenges. Because of our long experience in the sector, we know the path around these obstacles intimately.
Legal approvals
Because healthcare is such a heavily regulated space, you must schedule production in such a way as to facilitate legal reviews.
Tone
Oftentimes medical videos are speaking to patients about conditions with dire consequences to their quality of life… and even their life itself. A proper tone is necessary.
Scientific accuracy
When addressing healthcare providers or patients, it is important to portray the science behind the treatments accurately.

How is video used in healthcare?
Video can deliver better outcomes for your healthcare organization.
Mechanism-of-action videos
Letting healthcare providers know how your medicine works is a key to getting it prescribed.
Trial recruiting videos
Pharmaceutical trials can help push medical knowledge forward – but first you need to recruit qualified subjects. Video can help you do it.
Medical device videos
Buyers and HCPs won’t understand your new medical device unless they see it in action – animation can do this clearly and powerfully.
Patient education videos
Educating patients on the course of their illness and its treatment options is the first step to better health outcomes.
HCP education videos
Staying informed is challenging for any HCP. Videos can make the load seem lighter.
Workforce communications
Communicating with the large and diverse workforces of hospital and healthcare systems is daunting. Video can meet the ask.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Usually, about a quarter to a third of our workload is healthcare videos. We have worked with pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Lilly, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca, and Merck; hospitals such as Mass General Brigham and Johns Hopkins; and healthcare agencies such as H4B, Grey Health, and Havas.
This depends on the brand and message. Oftentimes, 2d animation can be very approachable medium for patients and HCPs. For depicting cell science, 3d animation can be both accurate and engaging. For sub-cellular scales, often times schematic illustration is more effective.
A healthcare animation company should have the ability to describe life science in an accurate and compelling way. They should be attuned to the special needs of healthcare clients, such as legal reviews and patient sensitivities. And finally, they should have the design and animation chops necessary to uphold brand standards.
